 I wanted to go to China and study Kungfu to get an authentic experience and a proper introduction to the world of Chinese martial arts - I've long wanted to start training wing chun but had a difficult time starting it up in Denmark. 

I chose to come to Kunyu Mountain to completely indulge myself in the art and focus only on that to limit distractions. Training in Kunyu Mountain Kungfu academy have definitely toughened me up a lot, both physically and mentally. My physique and technique have improved greatly since my first week here and I'm generally a lot stronger and more durable. I loved training with Master Guo who was a patient and fun as well as an extremely talented Master.The arrival of Coach Emil also greatly improved the training as he is great at pushing you to your limits and himself extremely knowledgeable and talented in his Kungfu style. Emil is a fantastic addition to the coach team. 

All the students are really nice and help each other as well. Specially Jeremy, Xuan and Victoria have helped me in my training a lot. Life in the school is very simple, you only have to focus on your training and try not to get injured. The simplicity is really nice even though it's tough to train 4-5 hours each day. There is a very nice diversification between Wing Chun, Sanda Boxing, Tai Chi and Baji Kungfu so you don't do the same thing everyday. 

The food in the school was way above expectations and generally very good - although expect to eat a lot of rice. The mountains, air and atmosphere around the school is fantastic - I loved going for runs down the mountain street. 

 All in all I am very happy and satisfied with my decision to go to Kunyu Mountain Kungfu school, I had an amazing time and experience here. Hope to come back one day.

I wanted to go to China to experience authentic Chinese martial arts as well as to enjoy a culture very different from my own. I’ve had the wish to practice martial arts for a long time, and I decided the best way was to go all in and learn from masters who has pledged their lives to Kung Fu. 

 My greatest gain from this journey is definitely the memories I have created with the other students, which is something that I will affect me the rest of my life - and of course improved strength, technique and flexibility is also a very nice thing to bring back home;) I was very lucky to be trained by master Guo and his disciple Emil. They are very skillful and made training both challenging and authentic but also interesting and fun. It was a very pleasant line between strict discipline and a more relaxed approach. I was in the academy for two months with my brother and we enjoyed the simplicity of our time here. 

It was nice to solely focus on bettering yourself. The training was a very nice experience and lasted around 4,5 hours a day. In the beginning we were so sore that we stayed in bed all day when not training. Later, when our body got used to the training, we would join optional extra classes and self review. So it’s challenging for both beginners and more experienced martial artists. The food was surprisingly good, but not that big of a variety. 

The staff is really nice and helpful if you have any issues. The surroundings of the Academy was very great and beautiful. Astonishing mountains and really clean air, with nice city’s close by.  

 I would definitely recommend this academy for anyone seeking a great experience and to better themselves and will always cherish my stay here .
