Why did I choose China Kunyu Mountain Kung Fu school for Kung Fu Training?

I wanted to study Kung Fu from its origin and learn the correct way. My motivation was fitness and discipline. Living at the school also removed everyday distractions and allowed me to fully focus on training. 

What is your greatest gain from your martial arts training?

My greatest gain has been the knowledge from the Shifus and coaches, as well as the confidence I gained in my physical abilities. 

Who influenced and helped you during your period in the academy? 

Master Guo, Master Zhang, and Coach Emil. Their knowledge is incredible, and their willingness to teach is admirable. Brief summary of my experience in the academy My experience at the school has been life-changing. I learned a great deal about myself and Kung Fu that will stay with me forever. The other students were welcoming and supportive — I made friends for life. 

What do you think about the surroundings of the academy?

The scenery is incredible and the environment feels very safe. The cities nearby were also wonderful to explore, giving me a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and lifestyle.

Kunyu Mountain Shaolin Martial Arts Academy has been a powerful place to learn, rebuild, and strengthen traditional martial arts foundations. The program requires focus, commitment, dedication, and heart. The masters are deeply knowledgeable and truly embody the essence of Shaolin martial arts. 

Having begun my journey in 1995 at the USA Shaolin Temple, I was still able to learn many new forms and significantly refine my existing techniques. Joining this school was an excellent decision. The brotherhood, support, staff, and camaraderie are exceptional, and I would gladly return for further training if given the opportunity. 

Thank you very much, and I hope to join again in the future.
