Why did I choose China Kunyu Mountain Kung Fu school for Kung Fu Training?

 The main reason I decided to come to China was to experience the culture from inside. Since I studied Chinese medicine, I developed a deep appreciation for its traditions, philosophy and way of understanding life. This connection inspired me to explore Tai Chi and Qi Gong more deeply. 

What is your greatest gain from your martial arts training. 

The greatest gain has seen covering that my body and mind are capable of much more than I thought. Training helped me to develop endurance, discipline, humility .Also opened my perspective to different movement styles and the idea that learning never ends. 

 Who influenced and helped you during your period in the academy?Everyone was very supportive and truly I appreciate the sense of community among the students. However, I was especially inspired by Shifu Zhang. Powerful, precise and full of spirit. I am very grateful to all the Masters and translators for their patience and guidance. 

Brief summary of my experience : Kunyu mountain Kung fu academy is a beautiful place, surrounded by mountains and nature, which gives a very unique experience. Shaolin Kung Fu Training was intense and challenging, but also very rewarding and diverse. Masters are truly knowledgeable and dedicated and I feel fortunate to have learned from them. Translators were always kind and helpful, making communication possible. 

What do you think about the surroundings of the Kung Fu school?

I am very grateful for the opportunity to have lived here and to have shared this time with such wonderful people. The rural surroundings are simple beautiful giving sense of balance that enhances the whole experience perfect environment for personal growth, physically and spiritually. Always remain in my heart.

 Why China Kunyu Mountain?

I love going directly to the source of all things. Kungfu originated in China, so I felt I also had to try it there. Studying Kung Fu in China felt like the most authentic choice for my training and this Kung Fu school review. 

 What is your greatest gain :

Learning the basics of Taichi, Wing Chun, and Qi Gong has been very beneficial for me. Taichi helped with controlled movement and balance. Wing Chun also improved my movement and balance, and Qi Gong helped me with breathing techniques and movement during training. 

 Who influenced and helped you :

All shifus, coaches, and other students had a massive influence on me during my time at the Kung Fu school. 

Brief summary of my experience in the academy: The experience was amazing and something I would definitely recommend to all Kung Fu enthusiasts. I had a great time at the academy, with the masters and translators always there to help me with anything I needed. Massive shout-out to James, who answered all my annoying questions and showed me around. Thank you, James. You’re a legend. This Kung Fu training experience is a review I will always remember. 

 Surroundings of the academy:

The academy is in such a picturesque place. It’s hard to believe I have been trekking up the mountain every Sunday to enjoy the magical beauty of the surroundings. 

Thank you to all the masters and coaches for your time and teachings. This trip will not be forgotten, with a hopeful return in the future — if I don’t get too old. HAHA.
